Lindfield and Cuckfield are the furthest east we run, an hour up the A272 from the Bognor Regis workshop into the Mid Sussex village belt — and they're some of the prettiest postcodes on our patch. Lindfield's High Street still earns its conservation-area listing, all Georgian sash and Tudor jetty leaning out over the pond, and Cuckfield's old market square is much the same a mile west. We've sanded back original oak block in the timber-framed cottages around Lindfield Pond, hand-finished parquet in the Georgian merchant houses on the High Street, and laid wide-plank oak in the bigger Victorian villas off Backwoods Lane and Hickmans Lane.
Further out toward Ardingly, Balcombe and the Borde Hill estate the work tilts toward larger jobs — country-house reception rooms re-laid in herringbone, libraries in rich walnut, and kitchen-extensions in brushed engineered oak. The drive from the coast is honest, the South Downs ridge is pleasant company most of the way up, and the standard never changes — same hand, same patience, same respect for the building you're working in.

We bring sample boards in oak, walnut and reclaimed pine so the species can be matched to the room before a single block is cut.
